The loss of oil transportation capacity inrndeepwater due to hydrates and paraffinrndeposits has a direct impact on projectrnresults. Paraffin deposit and hydraternformation in the internal wall of the oilrnflowline is directly related to the fluidrntemperature plunge along the whole length ofrnthe deepwater submerged steel pipeline. Inrnmany cases, the pipeline is surrounded byrnseawater with temperatures below 5℃.
