Sleipnir raising the bar for offshore platform lifts

Sembcorp Marine in Singapore is building the world's largest heavy-lift and deepwater construction vessel for Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC). The Sleipnir has been designed in response to requirements for installation of larger platforms, new types of seabed processing equipment, and removal of heavier topsides and jackets from decommissioned fields.
