Bespoke vessel designer comes of age

Still a relatively new name among long-established offshore vessel designers, Norway's Salt Ship Design has seen industry leaders such as Edda Accommodation, Ugland Supply, Ostensjo Rederi, Siem Offshore, Norfield and now Maersk Supply Service adopt its designs. At the time of writing, the company had a number of vessels based on its innovative designs under construction worldwide, all of which are purpose-designed units rather than 'off-the-shelf projects.
