Delta SubSea secures IMR/construction vessel

Delta SubSea LLC has entered into an agreement with a subsidiary of Hornbeck Offshore Services for HOS Bayou, one of Hornbeck's recently constructed 300-class HOSMAX DP2 multipurpose service vessels. HOS Bayou will be equipped with two Delta SubSea Schilling HD 150 HP work-class remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). The vessel will be capable of performing inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) and construction support work in the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to IMR work, the vessel package is designed to perform a range of deepwater services, such as subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines (Surf) installation, decommissioning activities, drilling support and deepwater well intervention projects.
