Veripos is trialling its new Verify Axion inertial aided GNSS service for dynamically positioned (DP) vessels. This combines the latest in GNSS positioning technology with the high integrity inertial measurements to deliver more reliable and robust vessel positioning. "Verify Axion is being trialled on Vantage Drilling's drillship Tungsten Explorer. It uses Veripos' GNSS and Sonardyne's inertial technologies to reduce the effect of GNSS disruption issues," said Veripos' senior project manager Jonny Gerrard.
