Polarcus Naila systems upgraded

Damen-owned shipyard Shipdock Amsterdam will begin a major refit of Polarcus's 12 streamer, seismic acquisition vessel Polarcus Naila in February. The 2009-built Ulstein SX124 design ship will be in the dock for 35 days of upgrade work. The refit involves the replacement of the current thrusters, construction of new propulsion rooms and updating of switchboards, communications and safety systems.
