The Nor Sky 5,500 bhp AHTS has been sold to South Korea's KT Submarine. Solstad Offshore made a gain of USD 3.1 million after purchasing the vessel from Jaya Offshore and reselling it to KT Submarine, a subsidiary of Korea Telecom. The Nor Sky is currently in Busan, South Korea providing subsea services to KT Submarine, which deals with the construction and maintenance of submarine cables. It is expected to remain in South Korea until March 2011. The 1980-built Panther Tide 1,200 dwt PSV, meanwhile, has been sold to PT Newport Marine Services, a Jakarta-based marine support services company. The vessel has since been renamed NMS Panther.
