Almost 40% of supply vessels operating in West Africa are based in Nigeria, representing the single largest contributor to the offshore supply sector. Activity in the area has also increased when compared to the same period last year. Major charterers of supply work in Nigeria include Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron, and Afren Energy, all of which reported changes in supply contract activity recently.
