Strong demand for DP-class vessels continues to prevail in West Africa at the moment, specifically the need for PSVs with DP-2 that can operate in deeper waters. Vessel owners are in agreement that demand will continue to grow. However, many have expressed increasing frustration towards charterers in West Africa that are unwilling to pay or even contribute to mobilisation costs, resulting in less appealing contracts. Despite concerns, activity has remained buoyant with supply vessels continuing to mobilise to the region.
