Brazil is in the midst of a temporary pause in its long-term contracting process, and so a number of OSV companies like Tidewater, Seacor Marine, Bourbon Offshore, Maersk Supply Service, Companhia Brasileira de Offshore and Astromaritima have been taking the opportunity to get vessels in dry-dock to perform maintenance, modifications and/or upgrades. These upgrades have included improved dynamic positioning and better pumping systems for quicker discharge of bulk cargo.
