Expro delivers innovative technology to unlock new field

International oil field service company Expro has delivered an innovative technological package as part of a successful project to recover oil from a new Asian field.rnExpro was awarded a contract by Rubicon to provide a 25,000-barrels-per-day of oil, single lift process module to install on a floating production storage offloading (FPSO) vessel for operation in the Galoc Field, approximately 65 km north west of Palawan in the Republic of the Philippines.rnExpro's Production Systems team designed, engineered, and supplied the complete process module from its Batam base in Indonesia, with detailed engineering support from the company's Houston, Tex. office. The module was delivered to Singapore for integration into the FPSO vessel, and commissioned with Expro assistance. First oil from the Galoc field was delivered on October 9.
