Arrests over fire deaths

Four people have been arrested in connection with a blaze at a vegetable packing plant in which four firefighters lost their lives.rnFirefighters Darren Yates Badley, John Averis and Ashley Stephens all died as the building collapsed around them as they fought to put out the fire at the warehouse in Atherstone-on-Stour, Warwickshire in November 2007. Firefighter Ian Reid was pulled from the blazing building by colleagues but was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.rnTwenty-six fire engines and over 200 firefighters from Warwickshire and adjoining counties attended the blaze, which was so intense it took 24 hours to extinguish.
