The all-party Parliamentary Group on Occupational Safety and Health is calling for an Employers' Liability Insurance Bureau (ELIB) to be set up to compensate employees injured or made ill by their work.rnUnder the group's proposals, the ELIB would provide compensation to injured and ill employees who are unable to trace a company's insurer, in much the same way as the Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB) currently pays out compensation to individuals injured by uninsured drivers.
