The Maurice Adamson Award

Ann Jones from the Swansea and West Wales Occupational Safety Group was named as the first recipient of the new Maurice Adamson Award during the SGUK award ceremony at the House of Lords in January. The award was established by the Teesside Safety Group and SGUK, in memory of Maurice Adamson, a Teesside group committee member who worked tirelessly for the local group network before he passed away in February 2010. It recognises the outstanding contribution an individual makes to the safety groups movement.
