Some reasons for accident prevention training

There are many good reasons why we want, and need, to reduce the number of accidents which are caused. Some of the reasons are obvious, but some of the basic fundamentals of preventing accidents can be usefully spelt out. In the training field we have an adage : 'Tell 'em what you are going to say, tell 'em, and then tell 'ern what you have said.'
