THE JOINT police/HSE investigation into the deaths of four men during construction work in Great Yarmouth is continuing. Contractors Adam Taylor, Peter Johnson and brothers Thomas and Daniel Hazelton died in January when a steel structure collapsed during the construction of a new building at the premises of Claxton Engineering Services Ltd. Post mortem examinations established the cause of death in all four men was asphyxia due to trauma. An inquest has been opened and adjourned until the police investigation has concluded. Claxton Engineering Services has issued a statement saying it is deeply saddened by the deaths and is fully cooperating with the police/ HSE investigation.
