Mechanic injured in inspection pit fire

Acar mechanic suffered severe burns when the inspection pit he was standing in burst into flames. CCTV of the incident in July 2010 shows Lee Roberts walking into the pit at Douglas Valley Breakers Ltd's workshop to remove fuel from a van. Seconds later he is seen running out as fire engulfs the pit. Due to the presence of petrol, the fire spread rapidly to involve the whole of the workshop.
