Spotlight on family safety

Following on from RoSPA's first-ever Family Safety Week in March, a wealth of information and resources on key issues affecting families is available on the RoSPA website The week, sponsored by Royal Mail, was kick-started by Martin Roberts, the star of BBC1's Homes Under the Hammer, at Aliens Croft Children's Centre in Birmingham. It highlighted a range of themes in a bid to help millions of people protect their loved ones from accidents. Accidents are the UK's biggest killer of children and the leading cause of death up to the age of 39. They are also responsible for millions of injuries every year, placing a huge strain on families, the NHS and employers.
