NEWS IMPROVING NHS OH SERVICES

Two key documents from the Department of Health (DH) set out how the NHS will meet the recommendations of the 2009 Boorman Reviewto improve the health and wellbeing of its workforce. Healthy staff, better care for patients: realignment of occupational health services to the NHS in Englantf, and the accompanying document, NHS health and wellbeing improvement framework2, set out how the current provision of OH services needs to be more closely aligned to help prevent injury and ill health at work, promote health and wellbeing, and maximise job retention and rehabilitation.
