3 IN 10 RECEIVE NO OH SUPPORT

Almost a third of British workers report that their employer provides no OH services, and women are more likely to lose out than men, finds a survey carried out by YouGov for the business publisher Croner. Overall, 31% of the more than 2,000 workers polled say their employer does not provide OH services, such as health information, counselling, wellbeing programmes or health checks and, where OH services are on offer, they may not be comprehensive. Asked if their employer is proactive in preventing ill health, almost half (47%) of respondents agreed, compared with 31% who said that their employer is not proactive.
