DOMESTIC ABUSE

The Equality and Human Rights Commission and the CIPD have launched guidance for employers on how to manage and support workers affected by domestic abuse or violence. It includes information on developing a domestic-abuse policy and tips for managers, including giving an employee time off to consult a lawyer, diverting telephone calls and checking that staff have arrangements for getting safely to and from home.
