Around 70% of workers are seen by their occupational health department within 10 days of a referral, according to the third report of the OH clinical-governance benchmarking scheme MoHaWK (Management of Health and Work Knowledge).The findings also reveal that 84.5% of reports are sent out within two days of the consultation. A total of 77 OH units entered data for the latest (third) round of benchmarking, up from 52 in the first round in April 2012. However, the scheme has been expanded beyond the NHS and the latest report includes data submitted by 14 commercial OH providers, as well as 58 NHS units, four other public sector OH departments, and one in-house private sector unit.
