OH pay and benefits 2016

Occupational health (OH) and hygiene professionals continue to be relatively well paid, and most believe they are adequately remunerated for their work. Only around half of all OH and hygiene professionals received a pay rise in the year to June 2016. These are the headline findings of the sixth biennial Occupational Health [at Work] pay and benefits survey. The survey was conducted in June 2016, and based on 310 useable responses from OH and hygiene professionals. The overall response rate was 22%. Details on how the survey was conducted, response by professional group, region and type of employer, and the tools used in the survey and analysis are given in the box on p.20.
