Surgery and digestive endoscopy require a multidisciplinary medical approach. Digestive endoscopy plays an utmost role in all the phases of the management of pathological obesity in order to optimize the outcome, the management strategy entails a step-by-step management of some of the complications. Priority should be given to less invasive methods, if they fail, then a more invasive step should be taken. Thus, a strong collaboration between the endoscopic and the surgical teams is compulsory.We report a case of conversion from sleeve gastrectomy to gastric bypass for gastric stenosis after setting up an endoscopic prosthesis positioned for gastric sleeve fistula.
