Report from CORE New England, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Medical Center

Two primary institutions represent New England’s nCenters for Obesity Research and Education n(CORE): the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Cen-nter (BIDMC) and the Boston Medical Center (BMC). nNew England CORE is led by George Blackburn M.D., nPh.D., director for the Center for the Study of Nutrition nMedicine and Chief of the Nutrition/Metabolism labora-ntory at BIDMC, and Caroline Apovian, M.D., FACN, ndirector of the Nutrition and Weight Management Center nat BMC.
