ON/OFF switch and seeing the simple solution offered in the schematic of Figure 3 in the March issue. I have sent a few other simple solutions that may be of interest to readers. Please see Figure C.Circuit #1 is a simplified version of the circuit shown in the answer that uses only one SCR.The OFF pushbutton shorts out the SCR, thus unlatching it. Power through the load is removed when the OFF switch is lifted.
