FileMaker Pro — the cross-platform relational database program — has been around for years and, in fact, is now in Version 11. But a new twist is FileMaker Go for the iPhone and iPad, and the latest version (1.2) offers the ability to view and edit charts created with the Pro version, including bar, line, area, and pie charts. It also offers digital signatures, so you can digitally sign such documents as contracts and invoices without printing hard copies first. The documents can then be exported to a desktop or uploaded to databases on FileMaker Server.
