Areva official says costs for new EPR rising, exceeding $6.5 billion

The price of a new EPR today is "closer to Eur 4.5 billion" (US$6.5 billion) than to the original price of Eur 3.2 billion for Olkiluoto-3 in Finland, a senior Areva official said September 2.
