Los Alamos Laboratory Selects Businesses To Compete for Safety Packaging of Wastes

Los Alamos National Laboratory announced it has selected four small businesses to compete for up to $200 million in services related to safely packaging Cold War-era wastes at the New Mexico site for final disposal. The companies include Environmental Dimensions, Inc., Albuquerque, N.M.; North Wind, Inc., Idaho Falls, Idaho; Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc., Oak Ridge, Tenn.; and Portage, Inc., Idaho Falls, Idaho.
