Two steps backward

Afew weeks ago, my wife and I and several hundred others took a double leap back into history. The first leap was from 2007 to 1923 in a movie made that year by Buster Keaton, the comedian who never smiled. Technology in 1923 hadn't figured out how to make films with sound tracks, so movies in those days were "silent," accompanied by theatre organs.
