American Nuclear Society Conference To Address Nuclear Plant I&c And Human Factors

The 6th International Topical Meeting on Nuclear Plant Instrumentation, Control, and Human-Machine Interface Technologies (NPIC&HMIT 2009) will be held April 5-9 at the Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, Tenn. Instrumentation and controls (I&C) and human-machine interface (HMI) technologies provide enabling capabilities that not only strongly influence plant performance and operational costs but also significantly contribute to dependable safety. Conference topics address the challenges and opportunities associated with the effective use of these technologies for existing plant modernization, new plant implementation, and advanced plant development.
