The following is a summary of changes and developments that occurred during 2010 and an update on the status of pending projects, with explanations of judgment calls on what has (or has not) been included. Argentina: Construction of Atucha-2 is essentially complete. Turbine testing was scheduled for February 2011. Nucleoelectrica Argentina S.A. has stated its intention to begin commercial operation by the end of this year, but this list uses 2012 as a startup date. Plans for new plant projects, which might use reactors imported from Canada or Argentina's own CAREM design, are still in development.
