My friend and fellow ANS member Hunter lives in upstate New York, which, like much of the nation, has received foot upon foot of snow this winter, creating great beauty but clogging the infrastructure something awful. So I was not surprised to receive an e-mail from Hunter saying he was on a ship heading to the Southern Hemisphere. He sent a magnificent photograph taken from his vessel as it was leaving the dock at Ushuaia, Argentina, to prove it.
