Army Corps of Engineers to continue SLDA cleanup

After suspending site work last year, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will continue to lead radioactive waste cleanup operations at the Shallow Land Disposal Area (SLDA) in Parks Township, Pa., the corps' Pittsburgh District commander announced on August 13. When that work will resume, however, has not been indicated.
