Castell has introduced a multivoltage interlock for use with uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems to ensure the safety of personnel. The KSUPS+ is a solenoid-controlled trapped key interlock that permits access to a UPS system only after the system has been put into a safe condition. The input voltage for the device has a range of 24-220 V AC or DC, which means it can replace as many as eight separate devices.
