Ametek Solidstate Controls' Western Service Center and Customer Training Facility in Carlsbad, Calif., is now open. Similar to the company's service and training center near Houston, Texas, the new facility offers hands-on training for purchasers of the company's industrial uninterruptible power supply systems, battery chargers, inverters, and other power products. The new facility, which also houses a parts depot, is intended to serve customers in the western United States and Canada. The construction of the facility was completed in September.
