Specialty seal group is now iso 9001:2008 certified, the company announced on September 17. SSG manufactures ceramic-to-metal and glass-to-metal hermetic seals. While SSG had been ISO-compliant prior to obtaining certification, the company says that certification will allow it to take advantage of new business opportunities in a range of markets, including nuclear. Components manufactured with the company's seals include capacitors, filters, transformers, and sensors.
