Uranium energy corporation opened its paraguayan uranium projects to officials from Paraguay's Vice Ministry of Mines and Energy, who were participating in an International Atomic Energy Agency technical course designed to support the exploration and development of uranium resources in Paraguay, UEC announced on September 9. UEC staff based in Asuncion contributed to the technical course, which was held over five days in August. UEC holds the development-stage Yuty project and the exploration-stage Oviedo project, which has an exploration target of 23 million-56 million lb U_3O_8. Both projects are potential in situ mining operations.
