The ownership of Wate Mining Company, the joint venture that holds the Wate uranium deposit in northern Arizona, is changing. Energy Fuels Inc. announced February 17 that it is acquiring a 50 percent interest from Vane Minerals LLC through its wholly owned subsidiary EFR Arizona Strip LLC. The other 50 percent interest in the high-grade breccia pipe deposit is currently held by Uranium One Americas, but if Uranium One's acquisition by Anfield Resources Inc. goes ahead, Anfield will hold that 50 percent interest and become joint owner with Energy Fuels.
