DAN BROUILLETTE WAS SWORN IN AS DOE DEPUTY SECRETARY on August 7. Brouillette has three decades of experience in both the public and private sectors, most recently serving as senior vice president and head of public policy for the United Services Automobile Association, a provider of financial services to the U.S. military community. Before joining USAA, he was a vice president at Ford Motor Company. Prior to his transition to the private sector, Brouillette held numerous government positions, including chief of staff to the House Energy and Commerce Committee and assistant energy secretary in the Department of Energy's Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs.
