摘要

The Department of Energy's Office of Environmental Management (EM) has reduced operations at the majority of its cleanup sites as a result of stay-at-home orders in some states. The DOE said that most EM sites have transi-tioned to "essential mission-critical operations status with maximum telework" as a response to the coronavirus pandemic. The DOE said that EM is continuing to monitor developments associated with COVID-19 and is evaluating its potential impacts on projects. While details were not available for all of the sites in the EM complex, some of the larger sites, including the Savannah River Site in South Carolina and the Hanford Site in Washington State, were posting updates online regarding their responses to COVID-19.
