NuScale Power and Sargent & Lundy announced on May 23 that the companies have signed a memorandum of understanding for a strategic relationship to support the deployment of NuScale small modular reactor plants worldwide. Sargent & Lundy, a power engineering company with more than 60 years of experience in nuclear plant design, will bring its expertise to the team working to develop the NuScale Power Module, a 60-MWe integrated pressurized water reactor.
