Nice planet we've got here. Shame if anything were to happen to it. Lately, I've touched on potential happenings from outside, like those darned asteroids. But in case you have been sleeping peacefully at night, maybe you should start obsessing about possible happenings inside. I'm not talking (in this case) about self-inflicted stuff, like human-caused excess production of greenhouse gases. The planet itself, nurturer of gazillions of living things, is capable of going oh-never-mind about supporting the conditions necessary for our continued existence.
