A method of manufacturing planar gamma-sources with controlled spectrum

Planar γ-sources with manipulated number, position and intensity of spectral bands within the span 24…122 keV have been fabricated and examined. Every source comprises a stack of the foils from inactive elementary substances and planar single-photon γ-sources. As the latter ones, the sources on the basis of the ~(57)Co and ~(179)Ta isotopes produced at an electron accelerator are used.
