The authors would like to correct the expression presented concerning the estimation of the energy resolution of TOFTOF spectrometer. The correct expression (4) is as follows: △E = (h~3)/(m_n~2λ_f~3) 1/(L_(sd)L_(pm)) (A~2 + B~2 + C~2)~(1/2), A = t_m(L_(pm) + L_(ms) + (λ_f~3)/(λ_i~3) L_(sd)), B = t_p(L_(ms) = (λ_f~3)/(λ_i~3) L_(sd)), C = (m_n)/h L_(pm)L_dλ_f, (4) where h is the Planck's constant, m_n the neutron mass, λ_i and λ_f are the wavelengths of the incident and scattered neutrons, respectively, and where the other parameters are given in Table 1. The authors would also like to acknowledge the prior work of Dr. Ana Gaspar, concerning the TOFTOF spectrometer and the estimation of its intensity and resolution functions [14], which is added hereby to the list of cited references. This citation refers to the introduction, the discussion of the instrument frame-overlap ratio (including in the caption of Fig. 6) and the discussion of the instrument resolution.
