The state of Nevada last week called for the immediate suspension of all work on the Department of Energy's National Transportation Plan, arguing that the effort should be transferred out of the Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management. The April 21 letter, written to the OCRWM Supervisor of Transportation Operations Frank Moussa from Nevada Governor Jim Gibbon's Office Executive Director Bruce Breslow, was also a scathing review of DOE's draft plan.
