摘要

The Korean-developed APR-1400 (Advanced Power Reactor, 1400MWe) is the reference plant for Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute's (KAERI's) new thermal-hydraulic integral test facility for advanced PWRs, ATLAS (Advanced Thermal-Hydraulic Test Loop for Accident Simulation). The ATLAS facility also incorporates some specific design characteristics of a 1000M We-class Korean standard nuclear power plant, namely the OPR-1000 (Optimized Power Reactor), such as the cold leg injection (CLI) mode of the safety injection and low-pressure safety injection pumps.
