Dr Peter Bleasdale is Managing Director of Nexia Solutions Ltd, the UK's major nuclear technology services provider. He stands on the threshold of leading Nexia Solutions into the National Nuclear Laboratory for the UK. A chartered engineer, Peter began his career with the Ministry of Defence and joined British Nuclear Fuels pic (BNFL) in 1990. He worked in various senior roles before being appointed Head of Research and Technology in 1996. In 2005, Peter led the launch of Nexia Solutions as a separate subsidiary company. Peter's vision and leadership for the creation and implementation of the NNL has been a key factor in its development. The NNL will lead and integrate technical programmes on behalf of the UK.
