This is an excellent book which graphically describes the basic principles of nuclear power, its evolution and applications, and its future role in delivering safe, secure and environmentally acceptable electricity. On the latter point, it has a foreword written by James Lovelock - the renowned environmentalist - in support of this most desirable objective.
