After a six year spell publishing and printing Nuclear Future, S & K Publishing Limited and Andress Printing have lost the contract. The Nuclear Institute has decided it is time for a change and so a new organisation will take over production of the next and subsequent issues. Well before the birth of the Institute, S & K Publishing had secured the contract to publish this magazine when the British Nuclear Energy Society and the Institution of Nuclear Engineers (INucE) decided to merge their respective Journals - Nuclear Energy and The Nuclear Engineer. A competition amongst the readership of their soon-to-be-combined publications led to the new magazine being named Nuclear Future.
